The Oil Thing
It is clear that many of you humans are upset and angry about this oil thing while a lot of the animals don't have a clue. My animals friends both fish and fowl are being affected by this because it is in the water. Some are being smothered to death by this oil stuff. My lady is saddened by this and her heart is heavy because she loves animals so much especially me. It makes me sad when she is sad so I hope this is figured out very soon and that you humans come up with a solution to this before too many more are tragically affected by it.

Animal Rights!
Hectors Thoughts on a DOGS LIFE!
It has been real nice outside. There are lots of things blooming and people are out walking around and kids on bikes are coming by. There is a whole lot to investigate and bark at.
I don't hang out outside very much when it it cold. I am a very short hair Chihuahua.
I get cold easily.I sometimes envy dogs that have a full coat of fur all shiny and full and of course warm! I think in another life I must have been a Mexican Hairless
Chihuahua.
I have a full wardrobe of sweaters and sweat shirts, etc. I gotta tell you I love wearing them as the ladies and the kids really think I am cute and make a fuss over me. I am cute without the clothes...mind you but there is just something about an animal in clothes. I really strut my stuff. There is nothing like having someone give you a bath, clean your ears, clip your nails and give you a rub down with oil followed with a clean shirt or something. I really feel like a manly dog then. Not to mention a little spoiled. My person says it is not spoiled, it is well-loved!
My lady person is feeling well-loved by God she says.
She mentions many times that she is Blessed! I kinda think that applies to me. Blessed means what it means, so I am blessed too! People talk about a dogs life as a real good gig and I am here to tell you that I personally know what that means.

Spring is here.
I am very glad it is warmer outside. I actually have no shirt on of any kind. The sun can get to my skin. I can run outside and bark at random just because I feel like it but most of the time I have to have a reason.
The other lady who lives here yells at me when I bark. She actually barks louder than I do when she tells me Not to bark! My human mom tells her that I am just being a dog and to leave me alone! Cats Meow and dogs bark! Wolves howl!

Snow and what I think!
The first thing I want to say is I do not like snow and I am not one of those dogs that goes out in the snow to play. Other dogs can do it if they want but that is strictly for the birds if you know what I mean. I noticed the humans playing on my street right in this cold stuff. Can you imagine?
After I go outside in the snow I come in and jump in my warm doggie bed in front of the fireplace and thaw out! I sometimes give my lady the look like I am freezing and start shaking and she will pick me up and cuddle me.
I have no problem wearing any of the sweaters in my wardrobe but honestly some of the sweaters she puts on me are a little out there. I persevere.
I miss running outside whenever I want to. The door to my own little doggie door has been closed for the winter because it lets in too much COLD air. That has been a bummer because I have to roust my lady to let me out and then bark at the back door to be let in again.
Our Cat, Miss Fuzz...loves the outdoors and she does the same thing as me all day long.
My Human said that she feels like a doorman and should dress the part. She doesn't mind really.
By the way have you thought about what it would be like if you had to poo outside in 5 inches of snow and you are only 11 inches tall. Think about it from a dogs perspective. I'm just saying. Think about it. Well, it is time for a nap. Later!
